PURPOSE: To drastically save the labor for correcting the surface of a dampening waterless planographic printing plate as the flaws of pressing are hardly generated on the surface of the dampening waterless planographic printing plate even in the case of the presence of the end of an original picture film on the surface thereof at the time of subjecting the plate to vacuum contact exposing and the silicone rubber layer of the part of such flaws is less dislodged even when such plate is developed.
CONSTITUTION: In the exposing method for superposing the dampening waterless planographic printing plate constituted by successively laminating a photosensitive layer and the silicone rubber layer on a substrate, the original picture film and a pressure contact glass plate on each other in this order and subjecting the printing plate to contact exposing; the exposing method for the dampening waterless planographic printing plate which disposes a film for transmission of active rays between the pressure contact glass plate and the original picture film and subjects the printing plate to contact exposing and the active ray transmittable film having at least one layer of transparent rubber layers having 105 to 107dyne/cm2 initial Young' s modulus and ≥50μm and ≤2mm thickness to be used as the active ray transmittable film are provided.
