Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the volume of a printer itself and production cost by using an inexpensive light-emitting diode(LED) array in place of an FOCRT (Fiber Optics Cathode Ray Tube). CONSTITUTION: In a state that setting of a syris-color film 21 is completed when image information is received for printing, R, G, B image signals are fed from an LED drive section 29 to LED arrays 28-28", and the light is collected by micro lens arrays 31-31" and emitted to the color film 21 nipped by an outer circumference of a base roller 30 to expose the image information on the color film 21. Then the color film 21 exposed with the image information is carried to a carrying path and image-receiving paper in a cassette is carried to the carrying path of the color film 21 by simultaneously driving image receiving paper supply rollers 46, 46'.
