Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold the phase information of a graphic with a small storage capacity.
CONSTITUTION: A character picture is read and binarized by a binary processing part 1. Run length data are generated from the binarized picture data by a run length data generation part 2. A vertical phase expression is generated by extracting a phase change pair from the run length data of the adjacent upper and lower lines by a vertical phase expressing data generation part 3. A horn cutting processing for removing a noise is operated without changing the phase characteristic of the graphic by using the vertical phase expression by a horn cutting processing part 4.
