Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve and extend the operability and the usefulness by using mouses in plural places distant from a personal computer or the like to operate it.
CONSTITUTION: A mouse M1 is connected to a personal computer 1 through a slave machine 81 and a master device 1. Drivers 25 and 32 are used for signal transmission between the slave machine 1 and the master device 2, and thereby, the signal transmission distance can be extended. When the mouse M1 is first moved, its use is detected by a retriggerable timer 22, and its first use is judged by a priority encoder 23, and the signal from the mouse M1 is selected by a selector 21. Plural slave machines can be connected by this select function. The display to discriminate the selected mouse M1 is shown on a display part 31 of the slave machine S1 so that an operator can recognize it.
