Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improved memory system enabling memory up grade and to provide a memory controller.
CONSTITUTION: The improved memory system has a circuit board 19 having plural card sockets, more than one memory card 11 provided with a first card connector 11a for the card sockets and a second card connector 15a for transferring data between a memory and the card, and the memory controller 12 with the aid of a cable. A control signal necessary for adjusting the ordering of the memory is provided by accessing to a means on the card or a central source through wiring buried in the circuit board.
