PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight exterior case capable of reducing the number of equipments such as a mold or the like, easy to assemble and fitted to automation by dividing the body part of the exterior case into a main case part and a sub-case part in the axial direction thereof and providing a first engaging part in the vicinity of the first open end of the main case part and providing a second engaging part to the peripheral surface part of the second open end of the sub-case part.
CONSTITUTION: A molded object has a main case part 27 and a sub-case part 28 separately formed by dividing the case body part 4a thereof into two parts in its diameter direction. That is, the main case part 27 has the recessed part 4k having a dimension smaller than the dimension in the diameter direction of the main case 27 provided to its peripheral surface part extending from the vicinity of the opening end 4j on the side opposite to a first closed part 4c to the closed part 4c and the engaging part 4m formed in an expanded state so as to have a dimension larger than the diameter dimension of the recessed part 4k provided to the peripheral surface part in the vicinity of a first open end 4j. The sub-case part 28 has the engaging part 4p bringing the peripheral surface part of the open end 4n on the side opposite to a closed part 4d into contact with the shape of the engaging part 4m and fitted in the engaging part 4m in a detachable manner. A tank 1 is received in the main case and sub-case fitted at the engaging parts 4m, 4p of a case 4 through a heat insulating material 3.
