Abstract:
To provide an exterior member supply device that can reduce equipment costs and is suitable for high-mix low-volume production.SOLUTION: A feeding mechanism portion 10 includes a cutting mechanism 13 that cuts a long exterior member 1, a lane 11 to which a short exterior member 2 cut by the cutting mechanism 13 is sent, and a shutter 14 that has a slit 15 through which the exterior member 2 sent to the lane 11 can pass and is moved at the lower part of the lane 11 between a standby position in which the slit 15 is removed from the lower part of the lane 11 and a communication position in which the slit 15 communicates with the lane 11, and the slit 15 has a wide portion 15a on one end side and a narrow portion 15b having a width narrower than the wide portion 15a on the other end side, and when the shutter 14 is moved from the standby position to the communication position, the wide portion 15a is first communicated with the lane 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
