Abstract:
To provide an exterior member for an electric wire capable of accommodating an electric wire using an automatic machine, and a wire harness provided with the exterior member for the electric wire.SOLUTION: A wire harness 1 includes an electric wire bundle 3, and an exterior member 2 for an electric wire. The exterior member 2 for the electric wire includes a cylindrical exterior body 4 that protects the electric wire bundle 3, a slit 5 formed in the exterior body 4 along an exterior shaft CL of the exterior body 4, and an inner portion 6 that is continuous with the circumferential end of the exterior body 4. The inner portion 6 is arranged on the outside of the exterior body 4 before the electric wire bundle 3 is accommodated. Further, the inner portion 6 is provided with an electric wire pressed portion 13 to which the electric wire bundle 3 is pressed. Further, the inner portion 6 is pushed into the exterior body 4 from the slit 5 while being deformed so as to be inverted when the electric wire bundle 3 is pressed against the electric wire pressed portion 13, and is housed in the exterior body 4 together with the electric wire bundle 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
