To provide an external apparatus of an air conditioner which can directly hold or install wiring system parts such as a condenser for a compressor and a condenser for a connecting terminal and a blower on one side of the external shell made of a synthetic resin without storing them in a wiring system parts box.

This external apparatus is composed of a base mounting a compressor, heat exchanger, etc., wiring system parts such as a condenser 4 for a compressor provided at the upper part of the compressor and a condenser 5' for a connecting terminal 5 and a blower, an external shell consisting of a front cover which is adhered to the base and composes the top and front faces, and of a rear cover 8 which composes the back side and both sides, and a side cover which is removably installed on one side of the rear cover. The front cover, the rear cover 8 and the side cover are made of a synthetic resin. In this case, one side of the rear cover 8 is provided with both a holding part consisting of a holder 8a for directly holding the wiring system parts, and with an installation part consisting of a boss part 8b equipped with a screw- tapped hole for directly installing the wiring system parts.
