To improve heat followability at the time of starting, suppress remarkable heat stress, easily collect air discharged from combusters, and distribute combustion gas to the combusters with minute flow amount deviations in a large-capacity or multi-tube gas turbine.
A gas turbine system of this type has an air compressor for supplying combusting air, a gas turbine body provided with a turbine 2 driven by combustion gas, and a combustion unit 3 arranged independently on the gas turbine body for generating combustion gas. Air discharged from the air compressor 1 is supplied to the combustion unit 3 through a conduit. The combustion gas generated in the combustion unit 3 is supplied to the gas turbine body through a conduit. In such a case, a first pressure header 22 is arranged on the conduit for supplying the air discharged from the air compressor 1 to the combustion unit 3, while a second pressure header 32 is arranged on the conduit for supplying combustion gas in the combustion unit 3 to the turbine 2. The second pressure header 32 is housed in the first pressure header.
