To make it possible to efficiently detect an object outside a vehicle.SOLUTION: An out-of-vehicle object detection apparatus of the present disclosure includes a right and left region setting unit that sets a left end position and a right end position of a region of interest for detecting a detection target in an image, a right and left region movement unit that moves the left end position and the right end position of the region of interest so as to be a predetermined value or more according to a distance to the detection target, and detection processing unit that performs detection processing of the detection target for the region of interest after moving by the left and right region movement unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
