To provide an external setup system which automatically performs a setup in which component supply jigs used in a component mount apparatus are arranged in a component supply wagon and a setup in which the component supply wagon which has been set up is arranged in the component mount apparatus.

An exterior setup system S picks and moves each component supply jig 2 from a component supply jig storage shelf 4 in a component supply jig transfer device 6 to set the component supply jigs 2 to a component supply wagon 8, which is to be arranged in a component mount apparatus 1. Then, the exterior setup system S exchanges the component supply wagons, more specifically, exchanges a component supply wagon 3 for the component supply wagon 8, in which the component supply jigs 2 are prepared, in a component supply wagon exchange device 7. In these operations, a series of setup work, which ranges from a setup in which the component supply jigs used in the component mount apparatus are arranged in the component supply wagon to a setup in which the component supply wagon that has been set up is arranged in the component mount apparatus, are automatically performed.
