Abstract:

To make a substance containing β-cryptoxanthin component be sufficiently dissolved in foods and drinks or soaps/cosmetics and uniformly dispersed.

The extract liquid containing the β-cryptoxanthin component to be incorporated into foods and drinks is obtained by dissolving or dispersing the extract containing the β-cryptoxanthin component in a solvent containing fats and oils or an emulsifier. The extract liquid containing the β-cryptoxanthin component to be incorporated into a soap or a cosmetic is obtained by dissolving or dispersing the extract containing the β-cryptoxanthin component in a solvent containing fats and oils or an emulsifier. The foods and drinks or the soap or the cosmetic are obtained by incorporating these extract liquids containing the β-cryptoxanthin component. Preferably, these extracts containing the β-cryptoxanthin component are ones extracted from a persimmon fruit.
