To prevent all of a required refrigeration from being generated by a turbo expansion of the process flow by forming at least one kind of product by an extremely low temperature rectification using a refrigeration which is generated by an expanded multicomponent refrigerant fluid, and a refrigeration which is generated by the turbo expanded fluid flow.
A refrigeration generating multicomponent two-phase refrigerant fluid flow 206 is heated and vaporized by a heat-exchanger, and the flow 203 is cooled by an indirect heat-exchange, and the refrigeration is transferred to a raw material air flow 74, and a cooling raw material air flow 75 is produced. The flow 75 is fed to a tower 11 in the end, and the refrigeration generated by a multicomponent refrigerant fluid refrigerating circuit, is fed to an extremely low temperature rectification plant. The heated multicomponent refrigerant fluid, which is obtained as a vapor flow 201, is re-circulated to a compressor 34, and a refrigeration cycle is newly started. Thus, the combination of the multicomponent refrigerant and a turbo expansion flow can perform a process refrigeration when required, extending to a wide temperature range.
