Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum stock tube with extremely low defect ratio by providing a tip of a pad end shear which is formed to be projecting toward the cutting direction and whose surface opposite to the cut section has the clearance angle to the cut section.
SOLUTION: A tip of a pad end shear 5 is formed projecting toward the cutting direction, and the face of the tip opposite to the cut section has the clearance angle of about 0.1-1.5° relative to the cut section. The surface roughness of ≤100μm of the cut section after the cutting is obtained by using the pad end shear 5. The surface roughness is defined by Rmax(μ) to be judged by a surface roughness standard test piece for comparison in accordance with JIS B0659. The cut section of small surface roughness can be obtained, and the clearance of about ≥100μm by including the air on the connection surface of the cut section to the front end face is reduced.
