Title:
EYEGROUND CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3630887
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make projecting an index in observation and removing a projected index easier, by equipping a second illuminating optical system to illuminate an eyeground to be tested by visible rays for imaging commonly using a first illuminating optical system and part of the optical path and moving an index plate linking with a focussing lens on the observing optical system.
SOLUTION: On working, an infrared light emitting diode 11 is turned on at first, then a tester holds the body of an imaging unit part and illuminates an eye E to be tested bringing the imaging unit part close from slight front of the eye E to be tested. A reflected light flux from the illuminated eye E to be tested is caught by an infrared CCD camera 29 and the image is displayed on a monitor for observation. When a pupil image of the eye E to be tested comes to be a desired size, moving of the imaging unit is stopped, and then a focussing lens 23 is moved to focus on the eye ground and, linking to the movement, a chart plate 16 is also moved. After the eyeground is brought in focus, the desired eyeground imaging site is moved centering on the pupil to determine the imaging site.
