Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change reproducing device capable of keeping the phase of a recording track and magnetic head constant with high precision at the time of speed change reproduction.
SOLUTION: One side edge of a head switch signal HSW synchronized to the rotation of a cylinder is detected with a one-side edge detecting means 15. Plural phase reference are generated to the detected edge with a plural-phase reference generating means 16, and the phase reference is selected one by one with a phase reference selecting means 17. The control signal of a linear recording area is detected with a control detecting means 12, and the control signal is frequency divided into (m) (m is natural number) in accordance with a speed change reproducing speed by a speed setting means 5 with a control frequency dividing means 13. The phase of the control signal frequency divided to the detected edge is detected with a phase detecting means 14, the phase reference and the output of the phase detecting means 14 are successively compared to calculate a phase error with a phase comparing means 18, and the phase control quantity is calculated based on the phase error with a phase control means 19.
