Abstract:
To provide a technique for suppressing wraparound waves in a relay station of an FM broadcasting system that forms a single frequency network.SOLUTION: A signal reproduction unit (41) generates a transmission signal by demodulating a received signal from a reception antenna, and re-modulating the demodulated signal. A carrier wave of the transmission signal is different from a carrier wave of a broadcast wave only by an offset frequency set within a range of center frequency deviation allowed in FM broadcasting. A profile generation unit (432) generates a delay profile according to time axis correlation calculated using the received signal and the transmission signal. Suppression units (434 and 435) generate a replica signal of wraparound waves according to the delay profile, and subtract the replica signal from the received signal input to a signal reproduction unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
