Title:
FABRIC COMPOSED OF INFRARED RAY ABSORBING FIBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003155641
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fabric composed of an infrared rays-absorbing fiber which is scarcely discriminated from objects or the peripheral environment by the naked eye in an urban area having the circumference surrounded by concrete, particularly in use in the night and having camouflage performance even to a reconnaissance apparatus using infrared rays.

This fabric is composed of an infrared rays-absorbing fiber obtained by carrying out melt spinning of a polymer containing an infrared rays-absorbing agent. The fabric has ≤2.5 lightness and ≤1.0 chroma in Munsell color system and 20-50% reflectance of infrared rays having 800-1,200 nm wavelength area.
