Abstract:
To provide a face plate for a fitting and the fitting capable of preventing a situation in which a cable is pinched in mounting an electric lock.SOLUTION: The face plate for a fitting comprises: a body core material 24 in which a cutout part 25 is provided on an edge part acting as a door end; a lock part core material 30 mounted on the cutout part 25 of the body core material 24; and electric locks 40A, 40B stored in storage parts 35A, 35B of the lock part core material 30 in a state in which an engaging member is exposed to the outside and cables 50, 51 are extended along a vertical direction. A cable storage groove 71 is provided on the lock part core material 30 along the vertical direction, and a portion along an entire length of the cable storage groove 71 opens towards another end face 31c of the lock part core material 30. A partition wall part 70 is provided between the storage parts 35A, 35B and the cable storage groove 71 so as to partition a space therebetween, and the cable storage groove 71 is communicated to the storage parts 35A, 35B via a cable insertion part 74 formed from the other end face 31c of the lock part core material 30 towards the storage parts 35A, 35B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
