To provide a face photographing apparatus capable of photographing under same conditions when photographing the face of a same person in different times.
This face photographing apparatus is provided with: a photographing means for photographing a face; a head part holding means for holding either portion of the head part except for the face at a prescribed position; a holding condition setting means converting the holding conditions of the head part of the head part holding means into data and setting the holding conditions; a data storage means storing the holding conditions of the holding condition setting means as holding data; and a holding condition adjustment means for changing the holding condition of the head part based on the holding data.
