The face photographing device comprising a photographing means 21 composed of an image input device, lighting means 11, 12, and 13 which light up an object photographed by the photographing means 21, an image processing means 20 which processes photographed image data obtained by the photographing means 21 to obtain output image data, an image output means 22 which prints the output image data by using an image output device, and a control means 20 which controls those means is equipped with a light shielding means 15 which reduces the influence of external light during photography, and the light shielding means 15 is controlled through the control means 20.
