Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of horizontal relative movement under an engagement condition, and restrain lowering of engagement retaining force when the engagement position is turned from a reference position. SOLUTION: A face-to-face fastener member 20 comprises a base 24 on which main surface a plurality of header protrusions 26 and formed. Each of the protrusions 26 has a leg part 30 connected at its basic end to the surface 22 and a head 34 connected to a distal end 32 of the leg part 30. These protrusions 26 are arranged linearly in order in the form of matrix in the two orthogonal directions being parallel to the main surface 22. Each leg part 30 projects almost upright from the main surface 22 such that it has a predetermined size and shape so that the total width W1 along a first direction A is larger than the total width W2 along a second direction B. Each head 34 is provided with an extension surface 36 extending outward from the whole circumference of the distal end 32 of the leg part and a top surface 38 overhangs curvedly from the circumferential edge of the extension surface 36.
