To provide face-to-face kitchen equipment which enables people both in a kitchen and in a dining room to cook together, and to shorten a flow line during cooking and after meals.
Face-to-face kitchen equipment is placed between a kitchen 2 and a dining room 3 in a manner that it is clearly visible from both places, and has at least a sink 9 and a cooking space 8 on a side of the sink. At least a worktop for the sink 9 should be in a place equally accessible from the kitchen 2 and the dining room 3 in terms of cooking. A space 16 for appliances is provided on a worktop, which is found on a side of the sink 9 opposite from the cooking space 8, and a setting table 18 to place appliances such as a dishwasher is placed in the space 16 for appliances with a gap 17 made between the worktop and the setting table.
