Abstract:
To determine whether allowable power is exceeded before a connection plug is inserted, and prevents the risk of connecting an additional connection plug that exceeds the allowable current value set for a table strip even when users are urgent and busy in a case in which various medical devices are connected to the table strip and used, for example, in the intensive care unit of a hospital.SOLUTION: A power consumption calculation unit acquires a cumulative setting power consumption value accumulated from the setting power consumption of a device connected to a plurality of outlets or some of the outlets via a connection plug when detection information is received, and calculates the cumulative setting power consumption value and the setting power consumption, obtains the estimated power consumption, subtracts the estimated power consumption from the maximum power consumption allowed for a table tap, and issues warning for the outlet or the intention of using the outlet immediately before the operation on the basis of the result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
