PURPOSE: To store a large quantity of communication message in quant and to improve the effect of a communication system by retiring call control information and load control information from a main memory to an external memory of simple constitution in the queuing state of communication message transmission to a terminal.
CONSTITUTION: A facsimile communication message is applied from a subscriber telephone set 2 to an exchange part B and sent to a storage converter part C through an exchange 3, and the facsimile image signal is stored in an image signal storage device 8 under the control of a central controller 7 for storage conversion. Further, call control information and load control information are stored in the main memory in the device 7. This device 7 inquires of a facsimile transmission and reception controller 6 about a free storage circuit and when the circuit to the terminal is engaged, the call control information and load control information are retired in an external storage device 9 to release the main memory. When the storage circuit is free, the call control information and load control information from the device 9 are transferred to the main memory to instruct a control information transfer device 5' to connect the exchange 3 to an addressee terminal 1'.
