PURPOSE: To make multi-page communication without generating page disorder due to interruption from other terminals by connecting a receiving facsimile terminal and a storage exchange together through a facsimile terminal additional device, and pending a next page wait state which occurs during page unit interception on the circuit with the facsimile terminal additional device.

CONSTITUTION: If a reception wait state is entered at the 1st and the 2nd pages during the multi-plage communication of two originals, the facsimile terminal additional device 1 monitors the communication terminal 41 by a signal control part 12 through monitor circuits 43 and 44 without performing any special operation for the communication between a facsimile terminal 2 and the storage exchange 3. Then, when the next-page wait state is entered during the multi-page communication, a stand-by signal is received by the signal control circuit 12 through a branch amplifier 142 and a modulator and demodulator 13 and a terminal disconnection signal is sent out to a switch 141 through a control signal line 5. Once a stand-by reset signal is received, the signal control part 12 sends a terminal connection signal to the switch 141, which connects a terminal connection circuit 42.
