To provide a facsimile equipment that conducts transmission/reception of a mixture of binary images such as binary data and multilevel images such as a photograph on the same picture in a short time without deteriorating the image when the mixture of the images is about to be sent as facsimile data, and to provide a personal computer, a communication system and a medium in which a facsimile transmission program is recorded.

This facsimile equipment is provided with a multilevel image reception means that receives multilevel image data 1 such as photographs, binary image reception means that receive binary image data 2 such as a prescribed data, and a reediting means that combines the received multi-value image information with the received binary image information and reedits the combined information into an original image, so as to conduct transmission reception of the multi-value image and transmission reception of the binary image separately, thereby sending/receiving the image information efficiently in a short time without deteriorating the image.
