PURPOSE: To enable printing output by easily retrieving the print outputted picture data after the printing output of the memory-received picture data.

CONSTITUTION: The facsimile equipment is provided with a picture memory 1 storing and preserving the contents in the prescribed time after the print output of the memory received picture data, a document number addition registration means 2 additionally registering the document number each time picture data is stored in this picture memory 1, a printing output means 3 performing the print output by adding the document number on the recording paper, and a picture data reading designation means 4 print outputting the picture data with the document number designated after read from the picture memory 1.
