Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit labor for cutting out a margin part by automatically cutting out the margin part at the time of replacing recording paper. CONSTITUTION:At the time of detecting the completion of setting of recording paper 1, whether a cover body 7 is closed or not is detected by checking the output of a detecting switch 10. At the time of detecting the close of the cover body 7, a control circuit drives a cutter 3 and cuts out the margin of the recording paper. Then, the control circuit controls a platen roll 5 so as to rotate it in the clockwise direction, rewinds the head of the recording paper 1 positioned on the cutter 3 up to the position of a recording head 2 and then holds the recording paper 1 at a reception waiting state.
