Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the transmission speed of the facsimile device and to prevent the generation of communication errors by controlling a cable equalizer or (and) delay equalizer according to a circuit condition.
CONSTITUTION: Facsimile communication or the transmission of image data is executed by properly selecting and setting the value of the cable equalizer built in a MODEM 32 or mounted externally thereon or (and) the value of the delay equalizer according to the circuit condition at the time of setting the transmission speed of the MODEM 32 or retransmission of the image data.
