PURPOSE: To inform it to the user as to whether or not transmission in duplicate is caused during facsimile transmission and at what page the duplicate transmission is caused when it takes place.

CONSTITUTION: A count of a page counter 18 is incremented by '1' every time a scanner 17 finishes reading one page. A transmission section 13 sends one page of data read by the scanner 17. A transmission detailed recording print switch 11 is closed, data by 1/8 page at an upper end of a page are sent to a transmission detailed recording data recording section 8, in which the data are stored together with a content of the page counter 18 fed from the page counter 18. When data of all pages are finished, data in the transmission detailed recording data recording section 8 are inserted to a form in a transmission detailed recording form storage section 4, and a transmission detailed recording is generated in a buffer 6. The generated transmission detailed recording data are sent to a print section 23, in which the data are printed similarly to the case with a document received in the usual reception.
