Title:
FACSIMILE STORAGE CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5630365
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the deterioration of picture quality by storing the position and quantity of a rejected picture information and by substituting a signal component rejected in transmission with a picture signal of the adjacent scanning line.

CONSTITUTION: Line memories A2 and B3 are stored with 1-line facsimile signals passed through A/D converter 1, but when the following signal arrives while two surfaces of the memory are full up, line memory control circuit 4 actuates counter 14 for the number of rejected scanning lines, which is stopped on arrival of the transfer command from storage part 9 to inform storage part 9 of its count value, transferring a picture signal for one line successively. Storage part 9 remembers the count value and the start position of a rejected scanning line and when the scan reaches the position of the rejected scanning line in transfer to transmission part 10, preceding-line substraction of a frequency equivalent to the number of rejected scanning lines is commanded to transmission part 10. Thus, a scanning line lost due to an overflow in reception is substituted with the preceding line to eliminate its absence, thereby reducing the deterioration of picture quality.
