Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of vibration in control even in a case where sticking failure occurs to a current sensor for detecting a reactor current.SOLUTION: A control part 26 controls a slip frequency of an induction motor 42 so that a sixth component of an electric frequency of a third MG (an induction motor) 42 matches a resonance frequency of a resonance circuit including a reactor and capacitor of a step-up converter 12. This causes a reactor current to vary, and consequently, if the variation in the reactor current detected by a current sensor is less than a given value, it is determined that the current sensor has failed.
