Abstract:
To continuously operate a system while preventing erroneous detection.SOLUTION: A fall detection device 20 includes a switching unit 25 and a vehicle position information acquisition unit 23. The vehicle position information acquisition unit 23 acquires vehicle position information showing whether each of a plurality of vehicle detection areas AC1 to AC10 aligned in a traveling direction on a track R is a train-presence area where a train T exists therein or a train-absence area where the train T does not exist therein. During a period from starting the entry of the train T into the track until finishing getting out from the track, the switching unit 25 sets a gap falling detection pattern AD to a train approach area which is an area proximate to the train-presence area among a plurality of falling person monitoring areas AF1 to AF10 and sets a track falling detection pattern AR to a train separation area which is an area other than the train approach area among the plurality of falling person monitoring areas AF1 to AF10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
