PURPOSE: To prevent the slip of a main steel cable without interrupting the passage of a tip metal fitting by installing a slip preventative oscillating piece which may be oscillated in the passing direction of the tip metal fitting of a sub-steel cable to an opening between lips of intermediate support metal fittings.

CONSTITUTION: A main steel cable 3 is stretchingly installed along a movement route 1 of workers and both ends of the cable are supported on end posts 4. A worker 2 is required to connects a sub-steel cable 8 to a safety belt 7 which the worker 2 must wear so that the end metal fitting 9 may be removably engaged with the main steel cable 3. In this fall down presentation device, an intermediate support fitting metal 5 comprising an U-shaped groove member 15 with a lip is installed on the way of the movement route 1 so that the tip metal fitting 9 may pass between the upper lip 16a and the lower lip 16b. A slip preventative oscillating piece 18, which may be oscillated in the passing direction of the tip metal fitting 9, is installed to a metal fitting passing unit 17. This construction makes it possible to prevent the slip out of the main steel cable 3 without interrupting the passage of the tip metal fitting 9.
