To provide a fall prevention arm which enable the user to sit for working on a chair part provided to the top scaffold part of a stepladder and to which a stepladder fall prevention means is provided and also provide a stepladder top scaffold with a chair.

In these fall prevention arm 29 and a stepladder top scaffold with a chair, a height adjustable chair is installed at the center of the top scaffold. When the user sits on the chair and changes the positions of the feet, the chair is rotated together with the body of the user so that the user can perform an operation through a wide range of 360°. Since the shelves of wires a, b are arranged crosswise in pear fields and grape fields, the top bent portion of the fall prevention arm 29 is hooked to the wires a, b, and bound to the upper part of the scaffold with a hook-and-loop fastener band 30 to perform an operation with ease.
