Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve an accuracy of controlling an excess air ratio according to an output of a flame detector by providing the detector at a downstream side of a secondary flame hole near air suppressing means internally provided in a lean mixture chamber at an upstream side of a lean communicating port.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lean communicating ports 19 are provided longitudinally at a side face of a burner body 15 opposed to a lean mixing chamber 18 surrounded by a burner body 15 and an atomizing plate 17. Flat platelike air suppressing means 20 is internally provided at an upstream side of the ports 19 in the one chamber 18. A flame detector 21 made of a flame rod is disposed near a downstream of a second burner port 16 near the means 20. Thus, a lean flame including the detector has smaller excess air ratio than that of lean flame to be formed in the other second burner port. As a result, an output of the detector is largely varied with respect to the ratio.
