Title:
FALLING PERSON DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3954908
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling person detection system preventing or reducing erroneous informing by discriminating whether an object existing near an orbital is the falling person or a maintenance person without increasing an installing cost.
SOLUTION: The falling person detection system is a system for informing/outputting it by detecting the falling person from a platform 5 to an orbital area 12 and is provided with (1) a memory part for memorizing a monitoring area 10 including the orbital area 12 set on the orbital in a station yard and a peripheral area set at a surrounding thereof; (2) a detection part for detecting the object existing in the monitoring area and detecting a position; and (3) a control part for judging that the object is moved from the peripheral area to the orbital area and as a result, the object detected at the orbital area is the object other than the falling person and determining that the object detected at the orbital area without accompanying with a movement from the peripheral area is the falling person when the object is detected in the orbital area.
