Abstract:
To provide a falling-preventing device which can be manufactured inexpensively as a simple structure that can suppress vibration of furniture itself by an earthquake simply by being fitted to a back part of the furniture without adopting mechanical connection means with the furniture and a ceiling, a wall, or a floor at all.SOLUTION: A falling-preventing device for furniture kind connects a pressure-welding panel to a back part of furniture where a slip resistance surface material is disposed via a spring mechanism. The spring mechanism causes the surface material of the pressure-welding panel to give pressure on a wall surface. The pressure-welding panel can be pressure-welded in parallel to the wall surface facing the surface material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
