PURPOSE: To achieve the certain prevention of falling of a spigot in a fitting falling preventing tool for preventing the falling of the spigot from a faucet by providing a constitution consisting of a support body having a space part, and locking bodies fitted to and held by the space part in such a manner as to be capable of sliding.

CONSTITUTION: A fitting falling preventing tool 10 is installed in a faucet 20 to which a spigot 40 to connect is inserted, and engagingly locked on the circumferential surface of the spigot 40 inserted into the faucet 20 to prevent falling of the spigot 40 from the faucet 20 is formed of a support body 11 and locking bodies 12. The support body 11 has a C-shaped ring form, and is formed of metal and hard plastics and provided with divided ring space parts having opening parts on the circumferential part side. In the space parts of the support body 11, the locking bodies 12 which can be held by the circumferential surface of the spigot 40 are held in such a manner as to be capable of sliding. Consequently, the spigot can be certainly prevented from falling from the faucet without being broken.
