This false nail consists of a transparent base material 2 in a curved nail shape, a printing material 3 wearing pictures or patterns for decoration on the back surface of the base material 2, and a concealing layer 4 on the front surface of the base material 2. The concealing layer 4, being colored in normal condition, includes either a heat sensitive ink of reversible type that makes it lose color and become nearly transparent when it is warmed up to a prescribed temperature, or a black light ink that forms color when exposed to ultraviolet rays, or the like. When a user put on the false nail using the heat sensitive ink, for example, the decoration display on the printing layer 3 that has been concealed by the concealing layer 4 begins to appear with different intensity depending on the user's body (finger tip) temperature. While the user wears it, the decoration display, or the design itself appears differently depending on the change in the environment or the body (finger tip) temperature of the user.
