To provide a fan coil unit wherein a flat box fan is used for an air fan producing a fluid and a mounting space for a condenser is reduced.

There are provided a condenser 8 standing vertically and facing a flowing air stream, a box fan 7 disposed on a surface of the evaporator through which the air stream flows, and mounting tools A20, B21 for mounting the air fan on the condenser. The mounting tool A is provided on the condenser, and includes holding sections 20c, 20d for fitting a lower portion of a frame 19 of the air fan inserted from an upper portion thereto for holding, and a support section 20b for supporting the frame from a lower portion thereof. The mounting tool B21 includes a holding section 21a and a press section 21c for holding with the mounting tool A an upper portion of the frame of the air fan mounted on an upper end of the condenser from an upper portion thereof. The flat box fan is demounted from the upper portion of the condenser, and the condenser can approach closely to the motor driven compressor taking a space corresponding to a size fraction associated with the demounting of the box fan to the utmost into consideration.
