Title:
FAN-SHAPED LIGHT EMITTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3494631
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan-shaped light emitter capable of emitting light beautifully with excellent illumination effect, displaying patterns, and reducing the manufacturing cost.
SOLUTION: The light emitter has a handle storing a power source inside, a transparent board-like fan member connected to the end of the handle, at least one LED source disposed near the end of the handle so that rays of light come into the fan member, and luminescence spot means for dividing a part of the rays of light from the face of the fan member and radiating the divided light. The luminescence spot means are disposed at plural positions from the LED source to the outer edge of the fan member, where the section of the fan member is drastically changed. The luminescence spot is a step part formed in the radial stick, a place where the stick width is drastically changed, or a roughened surface part. In addition, a pattern consisting of fine cracks may be drawn on the fan member, or a shading member may be mounted. Otherwise, plural different colored LEDs may be the light sources, or the emission of light may be controlled by a kinetic sensor.
