To effectively rectify a defect of a well-known fan with an ion generator by a simple constitution.

This fan has a guide ring member 2 working as an ion generator case body. The guide ring member 2 has a guide ring body 24 arranged at the upper end of a fixed side strut 22 to position, in the vertical direction, a movable side strut 23 of which lower part is inserted into the fixed side strut 22 and that is lifted up and down along the fixed side strut 22, and an ion generator case body 25 formed integrally with the guide ring body 24. The ions generated by the ion generator case body 31 are sent by blowing air generated by rotation of a rotor blade and are diffused effectively in air. When production of a conventionally well-known fan with no ion generator is changed to production of the fan with the ion generator of the present invention, most of the components can be shared, and the production change is easy, and possibility that the ion generator disturbs or appearance of the fan degrades is about zero.
