To provide a far-infrared heater for a drier which can increase energy efficiency and drying efficiency by increasing the radiant quantity while concentrating heat and far-infrared radiation in one direction and by making the range of radiation wider and more uniform.
A far-infrared heater for a drier comprises a body mounted in the drier, a heating element mounted in front of the body and emitting heat, and a far-infrared ray radiation plate which is mounted on the body and is arranged in front of the heating element and which radiates far-infrared ray forward together with the heat emitted from the heating element. In the far-infrared ray radiation plate, a large number of diffusion portions are formed in the face in a direction opposite to the direction in which the electrical heating element is arranged relative to the far-infrared radiation plate.
