Title:
FAR INFRARED RADIATING NONWOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6477665
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a far infrared radiating nonwoven fabric excellent in performances, durability, economy, etc., and further excellent in freshness retention of fishes and shellfishes, etc., or thermal storage properties by mixing synthetic fibers containing a prescribed amount of a far infrared radiating ceramics powder with specific core-sheath type conjugate fibers.

CONSTITUTION: This nonwoven fabric is obtained by mixing (A) synthetic fibers containing 5-30 wt.% of a far infrared radiating ceramics powder (preferably the fibers having 0.5-15 denier fineness and 3-25 mm fiber length) with (B) core- sheath type conjugate fibers composed of a lower melting polymer as a sheath part and a higher melting polymer having a higher melting point than that of the sheath part as a core part. Furthermore, the mixing ratio of the component B is most preferably 20-50% based on the whole nonwoven fabric.
