To provide a fastening structure of a cylinder block capable of improving strength of a fastening part when fastening a crank cap on a bulkhead of the cylinder block by a screw part.
The bulkhead 4 is provided with a bulkhead through hole 10 passing through the bulkhead 4 and a screw hole 13 extending in the direction of bulkhead through hole 10 from a lower part of the bulkhead 4 and communicating with the bulkhead through hole 10. A female screw part 12 is formed in the screw hole 13. A shaft part 6b of a bolt 6 inserted into a bolt insertion hole 11 passing through the crank cap 5 from a lower part toward an upper part is inserted into the screw hole 13 so as to screw-fit a male screw part 14 into the female screw part 12. Consequently, the crank cap 5 is fastened on the lower part of the bulkhead 4. A tip face 6a of the bolt 6 and a part of the male screw part 14 protrude into the bulkhead through hole 10. The bulkhead through hole 10 has larger diameter than diameter of opening of the screw hole 13.
