Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a fat and oil composition having reduced digestibility.

CONSTITUTION: Digestibility of a fat and oil composition is reduced by compounding tristearin of ≥50% based on the fat and oil. Usability as diet food material is improved by reducing the particle size of the fat and oil composition to ≤100μm. Actual calorie intake to a body is reduced by substituting a conventional fat and oil composition with that having reduced digestibility.
