Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently fix a decorative cover in a faucet having a housing for internally storing a water discharge/cut-off control cartridge type valve unit and the decorative cover for covering the housing from the outside.
SOLUTION: This faucet is provided with the cylindrical housing 44 for housing the valve unit 52, a housing cap 64 joined to an upper end part of the housing 44, and the cylindrical decorative cover 66 for covering and hiding these members from the outside. A thin cover fixing rib 114 is protrusively formed in the vertical direction on an upper inside surface of the decorative cover 66. At press-in time to the housing cap 64 of the decorative cover 66, the cover fixing rib 114 and an outer peripheral surface of the housing cap 64 are forcedly elastically fitted, and the decorative cover 66 is fixed to the housing 44.
